Thank you everyone for the great Birthday wishes and greetings....

With the snow almost gone and the air is warming and smells so fresh.....

I want to be outside taking pictures of everything around the area,Today, we had about 50 Pelicans stop at the lake in town on their migration trip. Very beautiful!!

I also wanted to get some spring cleaning done.
So much for that idea, as soon as I got to the area where I have my art supplies, I become super distracted,

My paper is making me start a drawing project and my scratchboard keeps catching my eye to scratch on it.

In the middle of a pen drawing, I just had to reach out for a handful of Super Sculpy and make a couple mini figures.


I want to get back to the computer to practice some more designing and drawing there too.

I took out my porcelain clay and made a couple more creatures for a pit firing that I have planned to do soon!

OH MY, I NEED MORE HOURS IN THE DAY AND MAYBE MORE CAFFEINE
The way this sounds, maybe less caffeine........

So is there any other artists out there that go through this?

I'm sure there is......................

Yesterday it was 58 out and all the snow melted and I was planning a pit firing, and when I awoke this morning we had gotten 14 inches of snow... Wow, It is so beautiful and I know it won't stay very long now. This drama of northern Minnesota weather makes life a little more interesting.

Yesterday we had an art show and it was awful, there is very little support for the arts in my community.
I am certainly happy for DA and all the great responses from everyone.

I haven't been around for a few days. I had to play in the mud. I was working on a piece for a juried show that comes up once a year in May.
I will post that one soon, I feel it came out great. I also made a few other pieces. I'll get back to the replies for everyone...
